The Anglican Diocese of Newfoundland, was at one time the Diocese of Newfoundland and Bermuda. In 1976 the Diocese of Newfoundland was reorganised and three autonomous dioceses were created: Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador, Central Newfoundland, and Western Newfoundland.
